about us

  • The Winchester camp started in 2002.  We are the only RFKC camp in Virginia.   How did WCOG get our vision for camp to get started, you ask?  Bryan Ogle was a coach at the RFKC in Cleveland, TN with the South Cleveland COG in 1998.  He and his family moved to Winchester in 2000 for him to take the Children's Pastor position at WCOG.  The impact on him working that one week at camp that summer in 1998, burned in his heart.  He says "I knew I had to start one in Winchester".  Bryan went to Director's Training in the summer of 2001 and the rest, as they say, is history....

  • The number of kids we serve is limited only by the number of volunteers. There are many ways to serve, from cousins (counselors) to support staff. If you are unable to donate your time, please consider making a tax deductible donation. All money donated comes directly to our local camp.  Thank you!

Story of the Week

  • What is in Your Hand?
  • Camp starts out pretty much one sided. The children arrive needy. Counselors and staff are there to give the much needed time and attention. Food is plentiful and there is no shortage of activities.
